Different stance while skateboarding than skiing

So I just realised this last night. When I skateboard im goofy and my right foot is forward but when i slide rails on skis i usuallu go left foot forward. Does anyone else do this?

my snowboard friend does the same, and he cant rail :P caus natural on skis will be goofy on board. to him :P and he skied before so he knows what his naturals are, and does 900 tails on snowboard so he sure knows he is a regular :P

i skateboard goofy and i spin naturally left... but does anyone else find it doesn't really make any difference which way they slide on rails? i mean i prefer to spin left on to them but it doesn't really matter to me which way i slide..

i skate regular and my natural side on rails is right foot first.

i think if you start to do rails it's a huge difference which way you slide, but once you learn switchups and 270 ins, it starts get less important.

Its good to know some on this sitre skate rather than Rollerblade. I'm new here and got the feeling from other threads blading is big amounst some of the NS members. Scary!!!!!!!!!

i think its because when skating your just pushing, but i assume that most of you who slide right foot first also spin to the left. and thats how you learnt is spinning naturally 90 degrees. i spin right and rail right foot forwards. and i skate goofy. its a very right side oriented thing.
