Different kinds off jumps

I've been wondering about all these different kinds of jumps for s while now, and i wan to get this right. Please tell me something about a jump type like booter, tabletop, stepdown etc.

Tabletop:

You takeoff, clear a flat area, and then there is a sloped landing on the other side. You don't land much higher or lower than the takeoff.

Step-up:

The landing is noticeably higher than the lip of the jump.

Step-down:

The landing is noticeably lower than the lip of the jump.

Hip:

Very steep takeoff, and you land on a slope that is perpendicular to the jump. Basically, a lot more up and to the side than out forward.

Quarterpipe:

A wall of a halfpipe, without the full pipe.

Gap-like a table top with the center flat part cut out, height of landing isn't much different than height of jump.

booters are typically made in the backcountry, and not manicured with a groomer. All man-made. typically bigger than park jumps, also due to the softer landings.

Kickers are just another name for the takeoff itself.

Whats the name of the kind of jump that has a lip that basically is nearly a wall... straight up.

But yet it still will have a tabletop with a minor drop-off exit.

I have the most difficult timeing my pop on these.. because by the time I hit the wall part.. Im getting imediatly planted in my rear seat... Im 6' tall.... I get no pop... and end up only doing a lame grab and hitting the knuckle... no high air.. and no long air... just... blip.. up.. then crunch down on the knuckle usually on the other side.

I call it a shitty cut jump. any suggestions how to approach these.. or a trick to throw down. I cant do flips... cause it seems thats what this jump is made for only. I hit the wall and speed gets dropped out super fast.

Just a big wu-tang hit. Good place to learn how to get flippy, cuz the lip does most of the work for you. Then you can take it to less poppy flier hits.

anyone skied the cayons park? not the big one, the smaller one. is it just me or was the second jump impossible to do without landing way back seat.
