differences in new pistols?

i'm sure this has been posted already a billion times, but i need to know. i'm rocking the pocket rockets now and i'm thinking i need something a little stiffer for next year. are there big differences between the 03 and 04 seth pistol models? i heard they are making it stiffer for next year? i'm also considering next years gotamas? feedback if you will. any insiders?

i thought that i heard somewhere they were softer than last years but i cant remember if that was this ski or i think armadas

 
the tails and mid ski are barely stiffer, no real noticable difference

i cant describe the vibe i get when i drive by 6 people and 5 i hit
 
okay well how do they compare to the pocket rockets? i'm not asking which ones you like more, but the differences between the two. i haven't skied pistols yet.

ok, ive had both pairs. 03-04s, and now i have the 04-05s.

i noticed a super huge difference when i skied them yesterday. felt stiffer, and more stable than last years.

compared to the pocket rockets, they are like comparing mad trix to the 1080s. i would know, ive had the pocket rockets before.

get teh new pistols. they are one of the best sticks ive ridden. i would def. recommend them.

k2's cores are from plywood/particle board, not a solid sheet, so if there is an imperfection they just cut around it, leaving gaps in the core, to be filled with glue and crap. Where as line uses full sheets of wood. If there are imperfections they simply do not use the piece as a core. So all of lines cores are solid sheets. And these pr's you speak of, well they have a foam core. Which by most people standards just doesn't cut it.

I thought that the pistols would ski like noodles just by how they flexed in the store, but once I got them out on the mtn they skied really stable. As far as them changing the ski from 04 to 05 the rep that I was talking to said that they are the exact same ski but with differnt topsheets. Anyways see if you can try out the voikl karmas, those are some sick ass skis.

I have a theory that all retards have one long tendon that goes from wrist to wrist, so therefore that is why they always are screwin around with one wrist up, and the other one down.

 
they made the tail of the 189s a lot stiffer. seth said it himself in an interview i read somewhere.

and ive seen sam's 189 05 pistols and they're stiffer than last years too.
