Difference btwn Line Blends and Prophet 90?

omg, i was just about to ask that same question. i would assume something in the core but idk. some1 exlplain this!

blends have a carbon matrix in them. prophets have the metal matrix, along with a slightly different flex. thats all

This year: the prophet has the metal matrix. which is a thing piece of titiuman/alloys in the topsheet and under the base. the blend is just a full marco block wood core.

Next year: again the prophet is unchanged, But the blend is a new design. 100mm underfoot, and slant sidewall construction. Again just a plain marco block wood core with no metal.

Hope this helps

thanks, that did help. So the blend is just a bit softer and with a tidge more pop and the prophet is more rigid. Good to know. I think I am looking into either one of those for my ski for next year.

I have both. And the only difference is in the prophet, the carbon matrix is replaced with a titanium matrix thing. The blends are a bit softer and lighter. But next years blends are around 100 waist width vs. this years 90

get the 90. i didn't like the blend it was too soft. i find the 90 pretty soft now but it's got good flex on the tip and tail and is firm in the middle. it's the perfect all around ski

if you were thinking about the 186 length you should get one and i should get the other then we just trade if we dont like them, haha!
