Is the binding open or closed in the pictures, like can you step into it the way it is, or is it like if you just lost the ski and you need to open it again? I think it looks closed, but then again i have no clue. Or does it not function like that?

if you look at the top view you can see them they blend in like marker brakes. good prodo type it looks like it would be light but my main concern about the design is pre release.

haha oh wow, thread bump. well, to update everyone, this project is kinda on the backburner for the time being. Im finishing up my last quarter of school, am dead broke, and am trying to get out of ohio before getting too involved in anything else (SLC in a few months!). I really should take those images down, and in fact i think im going to. However, if anyone wants to see the final course documentation (with images and a quick video, email me (trunek.1@gmail.com) and ill see what i can do.
