i probably watched the first and second one every week for 3 years, but i could never bring myself to watch those ones like land before time 10. they really went downhill after the first few, but man were they great. still have them on VHS if i remember correctly
 
I just bought the DVD a few months ago to relive my childhood. One of my favorites. Also bought American Tail: Feivel Goes West. Also a favorite.

PS. Poster got a good laugh out of me as well.

isn't that the oil monster thing from that movie about the fairies or whatever? or am i totally off the mark?

yes! None of my friends have ever seen Ferngully and I was starting to think I was the only kid whos watched it
 
I used to own and watch all of these movies when I was a kid. Those were the good ole days.

Not too long ago though someone linked a wiki page about the little girl that did the voice in all dogs go to heaven. It almost felt like I lost a close friend from childhood, it made me really sad. It seriously felt like I was punched in the gut. I haven't seen the movie since, so I don't know if I could get through it without thinking about her.
 
She was the voice of Anne-Marie AND Ducky from Land Before Time? Holy crap. I never new that. Such a terrible story.
 
I know dude. It hits like a ton of bricks. It seriously hurt my heart when I read it. I can't really explain it, but I loved and watched the movie so much that It felt like I knew her. It's hard to even talk about it right now. I don't mean to put a damper on this thread or ruin the movie for anyone, but I just felt people would/should know what happend to such a great little girl. She deserves to be remembered.
 
land before time and fern gully were the only movies I had when I was a kid. My mom rented barney somteeims.. heh

HOLY SHIT! I was addicted to furngully!!! The oil monster creeped the shit out of me but I couldn't get enough of him!
 
yeeah but only whenever it was on TV. i loved bob the builder, pokemon, pinky and the brain, scooby doo!! man i watched too much TV. but my nephew has the land before time collection.
 
i remember watching that part in the picture and thinking how juicy and watery those leaves are when he eats...
 
OH did anybody else watch Shera or the ghost of faffner hall? the ghost of faffner hall scared the crap out of me!!
