So I just finished my second edit (friends season promo), and after making my first edit (everyone season edit) and making a thread about it asking for advice, i think i touched up a little bit. Here's my new edit that i believe is a little cleaner than the first one, but anyway... and i could still use a little advice about this one as well.

the second video imo had way too many effects to actually be able to focus on the skiing
 
ya, i completely agree. It was my first ever edit, so i think i got a little overwhelmed in cheesy creativity, but i think i settled it down quite a bit for the second. thanks for the input. +K
 
you spelled spancer, as in spancer edit, wrong

if you want to be spancerized you got to learn how to spell it

but for real, it was less cluttered than the first, be still maybe a little overboard with the flashes
 
Yeah the flash effect was over-used in your newest edit and I found the fade through black transition was used to often. Other then that I liked it and what was that song in your illest edit?
 
I much prefered your newest edit, it's much better. Like the others said possibly a little much still with the flashes and bounces to the music. I also think that if you're going to slow-mo part of a trick then it has to be slightly moree gradual. I found when watching it certain tech parts of tricks were super slow and then speeded up to normal speed very quick. You could keep the slow-mo there, but also reduce the speed of the run out as well to keep it flowing smoother.

Still a huge improvement though, nice work!
 
although yes the second one was better, i still watched it fairly passively, try cutting the landings to the beat, not just the ends of the clips to the beat, it does a lot more for the feel of the video
