Yes, you should have asked for pictures. And no, B/S/T is not the most secure place to buy stuff, but we rely on the fact that were all skiers, we pay too much anyway for ski gear, and that we can trust each other. Whenever someone fucks up this trust, it really sucks, not just for the people involved, but it lowers trust between all of NS. And especially coming from a somewhat well known pro, its just not a cool thing to do.

Especially with $300, I'd be so pissed if I (sorta) lost that.
 
That is what I thought, too. When we were discussing and ironing the details he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. But then it started to unravel...

I hope you're joking, i really hope you are. He could've bought this years boots anywhere, he bought them from him being promised they were 2010 boots that were green, he doesn't want this years boots in a color he doesn't like, he wants what he was promised, or his money back.

No, it is a worthwhile point. If you paid a couple hundred bucks for some skis, and they came in what you consider a really ugly color instead, wouldn't you get your money back? This isn't about the color of something cheap that doesn't matter. When anyone spends a couple hundred bucks they expect to get what they pay for in a style they like.

You care about the color, too. Let's not pretend this is okay or that you are happy with anything. If you are, send me $400 bucks and I'll send you some skis. I can't say exactly what they will be, but they will have bindings and will go down the hill, which is all that matters to you right? :)
 
As someone who has done business with Triple_Strum before, I can say he is one of the most legit and understanding guys on here. This Will kid screwed up and is now trying to just brush it under the rug.

Time to bust out the address and go see him in person.
 
here i can help this kid with the descriptions, he tried to sell them to me over facebook, as MF*DOOM mentioned, he also went to my school, and i have heard similiar things. ill get that facebook conversation were he states prices of next years, color, and year.
 
this is why paypal was created and why i love it so much. if you have a problem you deal with paypal.not some kid in most cases that isnt going to give your money or stuff back. sorry man my sympathy goes out to you. hope you get your money back and the boots you want.

You definatly deserve your money back, if he is who he says he is, I understand where you were coming from the trust him. I also looked at the thread you linked, he claimed 09-10 atleast two times, and no where in the thread did he say no refunds. I think you absolutly need your money. $300 is a lot of money to get ripped off like that, and thats just not cool. Good luck man, I hope you get your money back.
