Did GRENADE steal CHRONICLES of GNARLIA!!!????

I just saw the trailer for the new IMAGINATIC/ TEAMhamburglar movie "Chronicles of Gnarlia"... I had been waiting for this trailer for a long time and I was pretty impressed, mostly because its purely amateur by NS members. Nothing too crazy but really cool editing and a fun vibe, makes you want to ride. ( i think this song has been used but so has every other song so oh well)

Anyway, I got to ride with these guys while they were filming early in the season out at Aspen and they were real chill. I loved the title of their movie and I know it might be purely a coincidence and stuff but I also heard that GRENADE's new movie is called CHRONICLES of GNARLIA... the only weird part is that when I was riding with them in CO, we were also chillin with a guy who repped a lot of snowboard companies, I think one of them was Grenade...

It's probably nothing and I know since it was a big movie this year, more than one crew of filmers could have wanted to use the title... I would just feel really bad for the IMAGINATIC/ TEAMhamburglar guys if that word of mouth got their title stolen.

C'est la vie I guess.

Anyway, I think both CHRONICLES OF GNARLIA will be sweet, obviously Grenade's will be super tech and jibtastic. Want to see both immediately!

 
The new grenade movie has had that title set in stone for a long time, i think its unfortunate that those kids wound up picking the same name most likley without realizing it. And if they did realize it then it isnt unfortunate
 
Just change it to something else...

Like go for the reggae theme with chronicles of Bobmarleyia.

Or if you want more of a high school theme, you could do chronicles of tardy-ah?

Or have lots of Chris Farley scenes or re-makes with the chronicles of farleya.

Or have lots of party scenes and drinking with the chronicles of barley-a.
 
AHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA im 92024365234579234% positive that Grenade doesnt give a shit about some kids making a shit hack movie. sweet song too...
 
oh yea grenade totally stole the name, and i bet think thank stole the song for the teaser too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!111!

do grenade movies have any skiing in them seeing as they have tanner, cr, rory and a few other skiers on the team? or is it all boarding?
 
just goes to show you that none of these kids know how to read. those books were written in 50's but it took a major motion picture for them to come up with the pun.

wierd. back in febuary i was thinking that the chronicles of gnarlia would be a sick name for a movie.
 
so where are these kids from? cause there's shots from one of my home mountains in there (bear creek PA) and i was just wondering, why on god's green earth would anyone travel a decent distance to ski there...
 
that is fucked, because for quite awhile this year our movie was going to be called "Chronicles of Gnaria."

Glad we didn't call it that now...+
 
wouldnt it sound better to say chronicles of Gnarnia? it just flows better. and again i ask, do grenade's movies feature skiers as well as boarders since they have skiers on the team?
 
ya hes got it. Grenade (soldiers of the frozen battle feild is there production companys name) isnt making a movie this year they are taking a break. A lot of them will be in mongo productions movie "who cares" and im assuming a lot of grenerds will be in lane knaacks chronicles of Gnarlia. im pretty sure they didnt steal the name because i doubt they go on NS. does anyone know where i can find a legit part of danny kass next year. he isnt in "who cares" but idk about gnarlia.
