if afterbang is defined as landing then holding a "gangsta" or just a position after a landing, then wouldnt Mr. Heed have started this long before Mr. Hornbeck? and i know snowboarders have been doing it for years and that it isnt a new concept but watch his infamous Wicked segment, it shows all signs of an early form of afterbang on skis.

Yo Hornbeck has been bangin' from the very begining. Its not even afterbanging for him its just the way he rides and always will ride.
 
idk if i really consider that afterbang, its just like really relaxed.

to be honest i dont think i like his style that much, just too slow motion for me.
 
nice lil shot of under the collar city bridge in troy. its like he almost, how do you kids say it, "bang" on the rail itself. so collected on a rail. be nice to see him hit jumps tho.
