Any episode in which they don't go anywhere or use outside characters is in general awful. I don't care for their emotions...is a comedy. It should make me laugh. And I believe these episodes were supposed to air last spring but were held back due to those deadly tornadoes
 
i get the feeling that people who say "family guy sucks now, was so much better years ago" are just bandwagoning and haven't actually watched the new stuff, most of it is fucking hilarious.

simpsons kickstarted the entire adult cartoon thing, i'll give em that. but the show just isn't funny. there's a reason we all play cod instead of pong now
 
i like family guy than most people seem to nowadays, but

except the last point, you obviously don't have a soul.

on another note, brian's trip was one of the more fucked up things i've seen on primetime tv, and i love that seth macfarlane knows that he can get away with it because it's family guy.

Yeah, that was the funniest part of the whole episode, and I never really liked the old family guys, the new ones are hilarious.
 
the whole acid trip was stupid, and they could have made the ending way better. overall a few good lines (loved the "dad noises") but one of the worse episodes. i am a huge family guy fan too so that means a lot
 
I agree. If a couple people were like "wow family guy is really good this year" this thread would look a lot different. Typical NS snowball effect.
 
ITS TRUE. I STARTED WATCHING FAMILY GUY IN 2ND GRADE (2002 OR SOMETHING) AND I THOUGHT IT WAS THE FUNNIEST SHIT IVE EVER SEEN. I THOUGHT FAMILY GUY KEPT GETTING BETTER BUT THE LAST COUPLE OF SEASONS HAVE BEEN GARBAGE.

I SAW SOME OLDSCHOOL EPISODES ON ADULTSWIM ON FRIDAY AND I LOL'D A LOT, AND I DONT USUALLY LAUGH AT STUFF ON TV...UNLESS ITS WORKAHOLICS OR TOSH
 
I thought it was pretty funny too. Especially when my dad made a comment about how realistic his trip was. But he managed to sneak in a "but how would I know".
 
i agree and disagree some episodes now a days are great others are just awful.but some of the new ones do have parts that make a horrible episode into a great one like so
