Did anyone get cod ghosts?

Infinity Ward used to be good, before most of the people that made them what they were left for other things.

COD 2K14 isn't very good, and most of you might not care but infinity ward really likes to give the finger to PC gamers which is fucking retarded. Not to mention the fact on how shitty ghosts is optimized that on "next gen" platforms like the xbone they still can't reach the 1080p 60 fps that is already the standard on PC and hopefully will become the standard on next gen consoles. I have heard that the PS4 has reached that mark but we will have to see. Also the fact that the longer a system is out the better devs get at working with the hardware and squeezing the most they can out of it.

I still find it funny they released it for current gen consoles when the new consoles get released really soon and people will just buy it again for their new consoles as its the most recent COD.
 
yea...and because not every single gamer out there is going to have an xbox one or ps4 the night they are released.

They'll be releasing ps4 and xbox360 games for years to come. Hell, I'm pretty sure some of the ea sports games still come out on ps2.
 
Many people are going to buy both Ghosts now and most likely when it comes out with the PS4/Xbone. It's a flagship next gen game and by releasing it a tad earlier then the new consoles they make a bit more money. It's a great strategy I guess, but it isn't like a new concept game or anything its a franchise that has been very cookie cutter and overall marketed based on its name and has coasted on that for quite a long time. I really feel like they try to get away with all they can just because they can because they are Call of Duty.
 
I'm not sure what exactly is bothering you...that a company is trying to make as much money as possible?

and actually, a lot of places have a trade in policy where you can buy the game for this generation, and trade it in for the next gen version when it comes out. So still only selling 1 copy per person, but on 2 consoles.

you seem to have more of an issue with call of duty itself than them releasing it on both generations of console.
 
the game's done, and the next gen systems arent out yet. what else would they do, not release it for this gen? wait for no reason until the other one releases?

no one's forcing anyone to buy both, and they have literally millions of people that want it for just the current gen. you sound crazy complaining about this dude. so many legitimate things to fault the companies for and you spend time even thinking about this?

I find it funny that people are going to buy it twice for full price.

And I admit I'm not a huge cod fan, they are very money hungry compared to lots of other franchises, then add in the performance issues and the no really new ideas (besides extinction which isn't a horrible idea, but it seems like its just a alien version of nazi zombies)

Then you go into system requirements (which I'm impartial on because I'm a PC gamer) and how the minimum requirements are 6 gigs Ram as well as some other pretty hearty system requirements for a game that overall doesn't look very good.
 
You don't have to buy it twice, you can upgrade to the next gen version for $10 more with your current gen game
 
^didn't know that, turns out if you get a season pass ($49.99) along with your ghosts ($59.99) for your 360/ps4 you get a free upgrade to the newest systems.

If you thought ahead and bought the "Xbox 360 + Xbox One Digital Combo" from certain retailers for $69.99 you get the free upgrade code, or if you buy the game through xbox live you get an upgrade for 10 dollars.

Honestly not as bad as I thought it would be.

No, but seriously, My local Walmart was selling BF4, Ghosts, and Diablo 3 for > 16$

My teacher bought 10 copies of bf4 and is selling them for 50 to everyone
 
Ok I have a list of demands that must be patched

1) make smaller maps

2) why do I die so fast, dropshotting doesn't work anymore (inb4 dropshotting hate)

3) we want smg sidearms

4) the class system sucks

5) fix te point system
 
I still play mw2, I've bought (and sold ) various cod games since I first got MW2 but I still go back to it. Fuck all these new Cods, they really aren't making positive progressions IMO
 
black ops 1 was alright. played alot of it. black ops 2 was awful. played a couple hours of it and it was just more of the same, but worse. wont be buying any more cod games.
 
This is the first cod game since world at war that I haven't bought on release day. I've been too hooked on battlefield 3 and I'd rather spend money on the new Assassin's Creed
 
Okay so after playing a lot yesterday with my friends I have realized

The Bad: The took out the best 2 fucking game types COMPLETELY.... Search + Destroy and Demolition... Although you can play search in a private match....?

The Good: They added 2 AMAZING game types, Cranked + Infected, both are pretty fucking sweet, especially if you play Infected with friends.

y u take out search & destroy.......

i thought search and destroy was like THE game to play.

that and team deathmatch stillllll
 
hardcore search and destroy was pretty much all i played in black ops 1. that and i think demolition.
 
I guess it's worth the money...

but yeah. All i've played since mw2 is search, for many reasons... They better add it back into the game by the next update
