Dicks sporting goods, do they have ski stuff?

a city near me is getting a new mall and it is gonna have a dicks sporting goods in it and i was wondering how good of a store it is for ski stuff if they sell it, and if you guys have botten stuff from dicks (not through the internet, at their store)

Theres one in Ohio that has a ski n board shop, but most dont have skis

they only had the fujatives and a pair of lines

there wasnt mucha selection

 
We have lots near cincinnati, the one I go to doesn't have any.

They don't have any ski or snowboard stuff at the Dick's near me.

Each store is different and have different areas that fit the customer base. Such as in my store. They have a special area for hunting/fishing/guns, and then a golf pro shop. Plus, if the store is a big one, they will most likely have more special areas, such as a ski section.

But I would say, buy skis and ski gear, from a local shop.

the Dick''s near me that used to be Galyans had snowbords, but they didn't have skis.

Imagine the ns outcry if u(lateralis) were banned. There would be countless threads and petitions to bring u back, it would be like when treadway got banned from whistler. Someone would probably make and sell 'Free Lateralis' stickers and shit. -j
 
the ones closer to me only have shitty brand snowboards

but the legacy one is planning on opening a burton pro shop they were telling me, they wanna focus on their soft good ...i got my burton metro pants for like 130 i think and a jacket for 40 but it wasnt burton

the skis arnt that well priced the fujis were like 209

i guess when they went from gallayans to dicks they had the 1080 boot wayyyy cheap tho.

 
the one in nj (not very close to me) had some fujis and scratches and juvys like a month ago but true not much selection. They also only had burton jackets

the one in MASS changed from Galyans to Dicks and their getting rid of Galyans old ski section so there r Scratches for like $100

yeah dude, don't buy from a huge chain store like that... you should support ski shops even if you get your skis online or something

 
^no worries i got my skis from d-structure and don't plan on getting new ones soon

Used to work at dicks. Their gear blows for every sport out there. Got lotsa guns and ammo though, if your plannin on startin a revolution.

 
Before it changed to Dicks, Galyans in Danvers had Trouble Makers, Lines, 1080s, scratches. It wasn't bad for a big chain. But as other people said, don't buy skis from them. Well, from my experience you could buy skis from them for dirt cheap but don't get the bindings mounted there. I got my TMs mounted at Galyans, and when I got them the heel peice was almost coming off when I got home. So I drove back and bitched, got a new pair of skis, and brought them somewhere else to get mounted.

And if you plan on talking to them about skiing, be ready for some wicked bullshit. The guy was trying to sell me 04' Mavs as a trade in for my Trouble Makers.
