there used to be a bar in that spot called "andy's" that was the best bar in salt lake city.
the guys that own dick and dixies used to work at port o' call and are alright dudes, but i really don't like that bar.
next time you are down there, go to xwives. couple of the bartenders are rippers that ride at solitude, coors cans are $1.50 and they usually have good whiskey shot specials.
and if you see me, say hello.

it was a real good time this summer. we built some cornhole boards and used to have some pretty good tourneys going.
for a dive bar downtown that has cheap drinks it's my fav. now that andy's has been turned into that horrible place.

Well apparently if the bar knows you've been drinking already, its illegal to serve? Vinny walked into the bar with an empty beer can, he wanted to throw it away in the trash instead of throwing it in the street. So being the great person he is, he brought it in and threw it away in the trash at the front door. The bouncer got mad but let him in then the bar tender wouldn't serve him so someone bought him a beer, he started to drink it and they kicked him out. Overall, not going there again.

That's an accurate description. The bartender absolutely refused to serve me since she had seen me finishing my beer (brought from home, not from the bar) outside. I was super polite to her because I didn't want to make her mad and figured if I just had friends order I would be able to drink and hang out and it wouldn't be an issue. Not the case, the second that crazy bitch saw me sip a beer she flipped, ran to her manager (probably to confirm she can kick me out, at least they don't let women think for themselves) then walked hastily back toward me and kicked me out in an extremely rude and intense couple sentences that I don't remember.
