I have yet to hear of it being enforced, but it is still a very new law. You are better off raping your sister, than being caught with a clip holding 11 or more rounds, from a legal stand point that is.

AR's are illegal, or anything with a pistol grip, hell for that matter anything with a bayonet lug is now illegal. They deemed an "Assault" weapon being anything that has any one of a huge list of attachments. It is really silly, a .22 with a bayonet lug is a illegal, but a 50 cal sniper is still 100 percent legal.

Yeah man, it really is a bummer with the .22, sorry to hear that it is not just in new york. My buddy lives in Missouri and everytime he comes home, he brings me up a brick.

Dude, don't even get me started on .22 ammo. I have no fucking clue what is up with that but I can tell you it's not just your problem up there in NY, it's impossible to find down here in PA as well and all across the country from what I hear. Sadly, gone are the days of sitting on the back porch and plunking pie plates and beer cans all afternoon with the ole 22 rifle. I just don't understand it at all.

I've heard stories of people attacking the skid of .22 ammo in cabelas and wal mart as the guys are pulling it through the store on the way to stock the shelves. Shit is ridiculous and I have no clue why.

There is just a huge demand for it. Most gun owners have a .22 and its the least expensive ammo to buy. At the gander mtn closest to me I can get it 6 days after they stock their shelves though. For some reason the dont seem to run out there even though the cabelas 1 mile away never gas it in stock

Normal prices like everywhere else. There real cheap and more expensive brands. I havent bought any in a while but it was just under $10 per 100 I believe?
