Diamond parking tickets

I just got a fucking 35 dollar parking ticket from diamond parking ticket because I was like half hour over the limit. Has anyone had experience with not paying these tickets?
 
ive heard from friends you can just not pay them,but have never tried myself so dont blame if it ends up bad
 
I don't know about where you live but in Calgary if you don't pay a ticket within 30 days it doubles. I've had a $200 parking ticket before for being in a spot for ten minutes, you should be happy that it's only $35.
 
If you don't pay they'll probly send it to a collections agency, which will effect your credit. Might not matter now, but later on when you wanna buy a house/car it'll probly effect your payments/how much you can get lent to you. For $35 I'd just pay it.
