Diameter for PVC rails

Hey NS, I've searchbarred but couldn't find what the best thickness for PVC is? I can get some high quality PVC thats 1/4" thick pretty cheap- like $10 for 6 meters.

Should I go for that, or go for the more expensive, larger diameter PVC?

Generally the thicker the better, especially if you plan on using them in the fall when the temps start to get low. I picked up some that seem pretty thick. I'll run home and measure and then I'll get back to you.

Yea so I went and measured, mines just barely under 1/4 inch thick. It has hardly any ware on it and seems to be going strong. 1/4 inch should be perfect especially if you can get it for cheap

I have 1/4 inch as well and so far it is holding up great
