from reading the comments it looks like the torrents were beta copies.
yes someday there might be D3 cracks/private servers. but i'm not sure why one wouldd want to skirt around paying for this game....it's so worth the money to play worry-free with buddies.

You have to have an active internet connection and a battle.net account to play it, it's as simple as that. There is no way to "get round it".
If anyone tells you otherwise they are lying.

because normal is boring as fucking hell. the AH house sucks ass because it's flooded as shit.
in normal all you do is click a whole shit ton and tank&spank ALL bosses. there's no risk, no thought. it's not a game if you have nothing to lose.

Bought the game out of curiosity. Played till level 12 with a friend and haven't touched it for 2 weeks.
In my book, Diablo is a dumbed down (they can call it action RPG all they want) version of any MMORPG out there, built with Blizzard graphics and physics. I already had trouble understanding how WoW players spent days and days on building their character but this Diablo game take's the cake by far. Clicking as fast as possible on a monster gets boring very quick, really I don't get how you guys can get any fun out of this.

It's a longer fight than most. Just keep moving and be patient, attack when the risk of getting hit is low.
