Diablo 3...

Diablo 2 was the diggity dank, so stoked for this. I haven't been into computer games in forever but I will be hopping on this for sure. Fuck yeah.
 
no seriously i had no idea wat he was talkin bout but then i thought of the ski makers blizzard and i didnt think they a ski named diablo.. but then i saw the link on the heading of the thread so i went there and felt like a complete retard for my past comments... by the way whats the definition of a diggity dank i neva heard that expression before
 
Dude I just watched a video for it what the fuck? It looks like fucking warcraft, why the fuck is blizzard making all their god damn games look like this? Even starcraft II looks like warcraft 3 now. I liked diablo II's dark and gritty graphics, now it looks like some kid game with blood in it.... But I'm sure it will be sick anyways.
 
OMFG!!! I went to the WoW site today to peep something and all I see is the Lord of Terror's face with a big fucking fiery III! I was sooooo hyped. Diablo 2 was hands down the sickest game ever and D3 will no doubt be the shit. Can't fucking wait, screw Starcraft, MGS, WoTLK, WAR or any other hugely praised game, Diablo will and always will be the best.
 
Yo, it's still pretty dark and gritty. They just made 3D models this time around. The action bars do sort of look like an MMO/WoW bar but that will make it way easier to play.

I think I'll start off with a Barb just because I have a fucking beast WW Barb in D2. Witch Doctor looks dope too, they're definitely a mad voodoo weed smoking dood (kind of like the trolls in WoW). I'm interested to see what other classes are going to be in.

and for the spellcaster it looked like they stole a lot of shit from WoW (fear, turn monsters agaisnt other, etc) but the graphics are fucking amazing and now I have two games from Blizzard to look for, Lich King and Diablo II, thank you blizzard for taking my money :(
 
I'm pretty sure all Blizzard games are compatible with Mac. Guess it's just more scenesters for me to kill.

And asian_allen, I hate Blizzard too, but I'm still definitely playing Diablo 3.

I'm extremely interested in how this plot and storyline is gonna play out. I mean the ending of D2 pretty much limited things. The 3 prime evils got their asses beat, and their soulstones were destroyed. I mean wtf. I thought the point of that was to prevent them from coming back to sanctuary ever again.
 
The game takes place in "Sanctuary", the dark fantasy world of the Diablo series. This world was saved twenty years prior by a handful of unnamed heroes in Diablo and Diablo II. Warriors that survived the onslaught of the armies of the Burning Hells have gone mad from their ordeals, and it is up to a new generation of heroes to face the forces of evil threatening the world of Sanctuary. Players will have the opportunity to explore familiar settings such as Tristram. One confirmed returning character is Deckard Cain, whose journal on the official site brings players up to speed on the events of the first two games.

I can feel myself giving into buying Diablo III. II took up so much of my time...

And at the guy asking if it's playable on Mac, it is.
 
fucking sick! i love diablo and diablo 2, those games took up much of my time back in the day. i have to get this one
 
When Tyreal smashed the World Stone it corrupted him hardcore, he becomes evil and maybe finds a way to release the 3 Prime Evils. That's what the speculation is saying right now.
 
Blizzard is killing it lately. First WoW, then Another WoW expansion, then Starcraft 2 and now Diablo 3.

What an amazing line up.
 
after reading this thread i went out and played diablo 2 for the first time in a few years, and now im addicted all over again. god dammit.

 
haha i don't know whether to be happy or sad. i wasted soooo much of my life playin Diablo 2... looks like my grades that semester might be a lil sub-par
 
chances are it will take them bloody forever just to release it..

Starcraft 2 was announced about 2 years ago or something..

(btw.. anyone have an old Starcraft cd key? they dont use? lol)
 
It's only gonna take 284732957 years to come out. I lost a lot of faith in Blizzard after they ate up Swingin' Ape Studios and then canned Starcraft Ghost.
 
I was so pissed when they didnt make Ghost..

That could have so easily competed with halo... probably could have been better had they done it right. Imagine being able to jump into seige tanks, fly around in battlecruisers, and call for nuke strikes...

if they expanded it to the point where you could choose a race, that would be the illest shit ever.

Think of the possibilitys of being a zerg or a protoss and commanding forces from 1st person...

I'd buy it.

 
thought it was official a while ago? budy of mine says they are thinking of doing a fuller version of the diabloe universe using the WoW engine, that would be epic and there is more then enough story for it.
 
haha when i installed it messed up and now theres no walls in the entire game. im just seeing how far i can get with no walls.
