Teej Schiller Vermont - No Training today because slope course blew. Rebuilding it tonight so we can try and qualify tomorrow. Sweet ?

They never fixed it after all of the rain last week?

They've been blowing and rebuilding like crazy since last monday when they closed it, I'm not sure why it's so shitty. Hopefully they can figure it out before prelims tomorrow morning.

the problem is the toyota truck. cannon stepup 50 feet to the knuckle. no way to get speed for it. dew tour twitter says the course will be overhauled tonight. 13375 meeting later.

even before the rain last week, the landings looked like breckenridge take offs...

what about the pipe?!?! did they get it cut yet?

wowwith the digital pics online it looked exactly the same as last yearnot really at all thoughlooks pretty dope once they get the kinks worked out

hahahahahaha wowww

thats the dumbest and least thought out feature ive EVER seen

wow that must be a pain in the ass to get that truck rail up there and in position. but that feature does look very stupid

what? It's a cannon box, with a 40ish ft table?

They're going to have to be hauling into that to have enough speed to clear the knuckle.

the course wasnt in that good of shape before the 3 days of rain. i know they cant predict the weather but a week of blowing snow should of cleaned it up a lot.

yeah i thought that wouldnt work. anyway it was a shot of the pipe from 4 hours ago. by the way keep in mind mt snow doesnt really make this park, SPT does

Real coverage will be up tomorrow on NS homepage. It's gunna be dope.

Shit happens and big events are always a scramble to the last second, pre-Twitter there were just no minute to minute updates to get everyone's panties in a bunch.

I could be wrong, but I think this weekend will be a success. We'll see..

TJ's most recent Twitter:

Athlete Meeting with @thedewtour to figure out how to make this slope course BANGER !

See what I'm saying, whatever needs to happen will happen. They needed to improve the course so they turned to the athletes... pretty sick if you ask me.

Lol. I was going to say that looked fun until I actually looked at it. Box needs to be twice as long or table needs to be half as long.

maybe if they put the Hitching post right smack in the middle.... Think they can fly it out there on time?

Now come on guys... Obviously skiing is not about the safety of the skiers, or entertainment of the viewers! It's all about getting Toyota their air time! Since they gave them the option to hit the truck bow at the past 2 stops, and most opted no to... They didn't give them the option this time. And they also figured if some gets hurt on it, that is all the longer that it will be on tv! You have to think about things fro ma marketing stand point.

i was going to let staubs comment slide but everyone knew it was going to be fixed from the start. By 9am athletes had already begun talking with spt about the problems with the course. When practice was over this afternoon spt began work. before this thread was even made the dew tour twitter feed had announced changes were going to be made. tonight at the meeting, it was gone over what changes will be made. Spt is going to work hard tonight to get this course as best as they can before the 8am. there is nothing to worry about. You have to be able to see why some of the athletes were posting about the course. Today's 2 hour practice is when the riders are supposed to get the course down. there is not much time between practicing and prelims. at the end of the practice, the athlete will have a pretty good idea what there runs in the comp will be. Today, they didn't know because one feature was completely unhittable.
