i wanna see the x games or dew tour do a live pov during the comp. i think that would be really cool, in nascar they have them so why not skiing and snowboarding.

Your comment reminds me of some pipe commentator i think it was last year or the year before at X when they were explaining on tv that Dumont is so good at pipe because he has awesome abilities to not get super dizzy in the pipe and that's what makes him so good haha
 
nah people have said they'd do it, there are just super strict media rules..like in dew you can't film any of the finals for any reason - nbc, silly stuff.

i meant a camera that can wirelessly send out the footage to be aired live during the run... does that shit even exist? feel like it would have to be stupidly big and heavy
 
pretty sure, yeah. i was wondering how the chest mount would look while doing tricks. pretty nice, if you ask me.
 
So like a helmet came that has the ability to live feed to TV...I am pretty sure they make those because remote camera recording devices has existed forever and I can't imagine it would be that hard to have a helmet cam live feed to be broadcasted.

I hope that is what you are talking about.

i think it would be a sweet camera angle to add to the already good coverage of X events. Ideally I wish they would do X online or on a channel on TV where they have the primary camera (overhead booms, ziplines, ect..), helmet cam(every rider would have one mounted to their helmet go pro style) and follow cam, all up at one time. basically split the screen into 3 different angles like they do on the specialty sports channels so we can peep whatever perspective we want.

honestly i would pay quite a bit extra if they had a premium channel for X that was live and had all the different angles and extra coverage and such. anyone else agree?

that's cool if it exists, i just seriously wonder how much even adding like a lb of extra weight on your heard, could mess with your balance/equilibrium while throwing dub cork 12s
 
We can do standard def pretty easily..a little backpack that about doubles the size of the gopro... Which works for broadcast if you do a PIP deal with the pov in the corner of the screen or something.. did that for motocross. HD is more of a backpack type deal at the moment.. :/
