Anybody gonna be in the area this winter and want to ride? Im going to school in Lindsay and theres nobody to ski with. Does devils elbow even have a park?

dude. honestly, there are tons of local hills with good vibes, but if you want to get a good park, MSLM and Blue are pretty much the only really good ones. some hills arent bad though. just make yourself known there and youll find some other riders.

Ive ridden in ontario for over 10 years and hit basically everything there is here. Only reason im going to devils elbow is cause its the closest hill to my college, im at mslm quite a few times a year

fair enough. you should hit up Hidden Valley. rail jam on the 5th of december. wer about 2 hours away. its a small low key type of jam. crappy skier, probably mixed with snowboarders and bad hits. but it should still be fun!

i might be hitting up that way some time

i think devils elbow has a park

i know they have a few features like some boxes but im not 100% sure i havent been there before

sick atleast if they have a few rails or boxes to play around on thats all I need. Maybe a few jumps to throw some spins but small pars are fine with me. If your up this way hit me up im always down to ride.

yeah i will

ill have to see what my work schedule is like but ill let you know if i am up that way

check out Dagmar...at last count i think we have about 30 slideable features...jump line is good too...little further than Devils Elbow...but closer than louis or Blue....hopefully it will get cold soon

I guess I should jump in here.

If you can handle a 10 minute drive past Devil's elbow on the 35/155 hwy, you will find BRIMACOMBE...formerly known as the Oshawa Ski Club.

Check out our website www.brimacombe.ca look at what we have to offer, look at our prices and you will see that we are one of the largest resorts in Southern Ontario, and have a large park (and a progression park this year). We also have in the neighbourhood of 30 festures.

I will not comment on another resort, each offers something unique, but I think you'll find if you come to Brimacombe (once our park is open at least) you will not be disappointed and will keep coming back.

Here's some pics from last season...

Most of these pics are the lower half of the park.

devils had maybe 8 features but the lift is really long/slow and they have no jumps dagmars a bit further great park & fairly short lift

OSC isn't too shabby what I've heard. MSLM and Blue are good, but Blue has the ICIIIEST LANDINGS ON EARTH. Anyways, I have a couple buddies at Devils Elbow, and I can give em a ring if you want.

Yeah, i grew up in that area and devils elbow is run by a bunch of old pricks. I have avoided that shit for 10+ years even though it was the closest hill.

You want park? Suck up the drive and hit up Brimacombe or Dagmar... sorry dude...elbows park sucks and the people who run the place are even worse.

Yeah brimacombe is where I ended up for the past season, their park was pretty damn fun for a smaller hill. Soooo happy to be packing up for bc in 3 months though! Screw ontario!

Then get out and do it man! And if your too young then just hold on for now in Ontario and then high tail it the hell out of here once your done school.

Haha nice man I was at the frost campus. Dont live in town anymore though, leaving this shithole for bc in a few months.

Haha im surprised anybody even knows where it is. It does suck,My house had crackheads break into it in the night.

No because im not retarded, and understand that powder is more fun than riding park anyday. Doesnt mean I dont love both or suck at them.
