YouAllSuck Member Jul 12, 2012 #7 it can help, but you don't want to destroy your edges. Use a Gummy Stone instead of filing them down
E-fry Member Jul 13, 2012 #8 leave the underfoot area sharp but de-tune the tips and tails. Makes skiing much more enjoyable.
