ya I was there. Wasn't online last weekend thought so I didn't see your message on here. Finals was pretty sick even though it was only 5 skiers.

 
yeah, it was too bad that Hibbert and Crichton got hurt. Anyone know whats ups with Andy Woods and Matt Sterbenz didnt show up cause they were on the list i had

Nice to hear that we had some guys show up. If any of you saw a dumb-looking kid in an orange shirt that said 'Mojo Filter'... that was me. GT is the shit, I'm glad he won... i got an interview with him after the comp, pretty cool, it should be on the site soon.

This was one of the sickest comps I have been to. Its not to often that people come to south east shit hole like d-town and throw down. GT represented hard core for the mid west.

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?

ya the weekend was just insain, we got alot of really sweet footy, I think something like 3-3.5 hours from both days. They threw a ton of stuff, spins up to 1080 (although it was sketch on the landing sideways and spinning it around), flat 7 japan, double back, flair to front, corked 9, and then a bunch more of the smaller stuff. Tons of flat spins.

The second day was pretty cool except for the dam truck driver sucking and lying to molson. It was pretty cool standing up on the deck and pointing the camera at the crowd and watching people yell like they were going to be on tv. haha kept me amused between riders. The vert ramp was sick, had a bunch of decent bands playing. Sick weekend for sure.

and Mojo Filter, by the way, is from the Beatles' 'Come Together'... it was the name of an old band of mine.

Hibbert had a hairline fracture in his humerus and hurt his wrist, plus a concussion, right? And what did Crichton do to himself?

Also, they said that Dave automatically got third place... but then they announced 1. GT, 2. Mauro, and 3. Miles Ricketts! So who got third?

Hibbert was also unconscious for a good length of time and taken away on a backboard. Crichton under rotated 90degrees on an alley oop flat spin 900, i dont know what you call that grab.

It was Miles, Mauro, and GT in the final 3 but when they did the awards it went Crichton, Mauro, and the GT. Remember Crichton was acting drunck and he tried to throw his plastic check in the crowd and it hit a speaker on the stage.
