such a funny show. Dr Roxxo is a great character. I remember when the show first came out and the actual band did a free tour, saw them live, and they are incredible musicians.
 
I did. they've been on tour twice. though I have to say, studio musicians have horrible stage presence, they still slay.

brendon small makes all of the music for deathklok. when he went on tour it was just him performing on stage alone along with animated band members.

so there isnt multiple musicians in deathklok, just brendan small. occasionally he will use one or two other guys to help out, but i dont think he did that on tour.
 
the original cartoon network tour had 4 musicians performing. One lead guitarist who was on background vox, a rhythm guitarist who sang lead, a bassist, and a drummer. the second time I didn't see them but was told it was the same setup. so suck it. I highly doubt you have ever seen them live if you don't know this.

i can see how you wouldnt like it but i think its a pretty hilarious show. i dont even like metal but its mostly tongue in cheek anyway and the 11 minute shows are the perfect length, nothing ever gets resolved hardly, its just mostly nonsense. my roommates got me into it this year
 
Actually he does use other musicians when he goes on tour. The original tour had a full band and the second tour had a 3 piece. Then they just play music videos on a giant screen behind it.
You might be thinking of Gorillaz who do something weird like have musicians playing in suits but they use the lighting so they only appear as sillouettes or something like that.
Anyone see the Christmas episode from last season? Rockso is so fucking funny in it. "Hey there little fuzze zoo animal, COCAINE!"
 
I don't like it. I was never interested in it. Didn't help that first time I watched it I was tripping at my buddies house and they had that shit cranked up ridiculously high through the stereo.

I just think it's kind of dumb, and the music isn't my style. I like happy shit.

when i saw them at TLA in Philidelphia, it was Brendan Smalls, Gene Hoglan from Strapping Young Lad on the drums, and at least 2 more whose names are escaping me at the moment.

But yeah, it's an awesome show. I think if it were half hour episodes it'd get more tiresome, but the short mini-sodes are perfect for the content. As for favorite character, cmon now, Toki Wartooth, NOT A BUMBLEBEE !
