The bindings have a little more metal in the baseplates, and one of them is basically a 916 in a housing that features more plastic so that they're lighter. I wish they had just lowered the retail price on REAL 916s, but oh well.

Boots: 3 SPKs for next year. The leather one, which just has a leather cover. The white one, which is pretty much unchanged, and a baby blue one that is "price point", meaning cheaper with less features.

yea, one more step to copying snowboarding. they didn't actually change the functionality of the boot just the looks. the spk itself was a good step in the right direction, but not the leather, but whatever. I didn't like the leather from pics but in real life they look pretty cool.

well his point is that solly is simply trying to attract kids like you solely by the looks of a boot, whereas a snowboard boot is actually soft and leather can have some use in their making.

If it's a regular boot, why the fuck would you need to put leather on the top of it? To go to the fashion show? To make you better than people with real boots?

Painted plastic shells is plenty cool enough for me.
