Desktop to do list for mac?

i am looking for a to do list that just sits on the desktop, but is sort of locked in there. i dont want to have to get the widget screen to pop up in order to see my to do list. is there any way to do this? it doesnt have to be clickable (like if i hit it on the desktop when the to do list is showing, i dont care if it enters the program or not) when open, but i dont want it to move around. any ideas?

yes, the program is called Stickies. It's post it notes for your screen. Should be under your Apple menu if your running Mac OS 7.5 or better.

Thanks, if i cant find anything else, i will just use that. i was looking for something more along the lines of this though. it seems like it will be there on startup, and isnt movable on the desktop.
