i heard about it yesterday from my friend in her room, i was almost crying. spong is an amazing young skiing and he works so hard. he is such the little brother to everyone. ha just thinking about him i remember a bf of mine trying to help him find a girl so he could lose his vcard! ha!!

spong is such an amazing kid, i really hope he pulls through this, our sport needs such a strong passionate lil kid, he is the future of our sport.

I hope you get well soon spong and you make it though all of this okay. and i hope evan and the rest of the family make it through this hard time aswell.

GOOD NEWS!: Derek had an MRI today to look at his back cause they wern't sure if he did anything to his vertebre's. turns out there wasn't anything wrong. I also said I wasn't sure if he did anything to his spleen and his brother made it sound like there was a small cut. Heres the good news: He should be able to get up and walk around tomorrow
