Demos/Rental Options in Vail

Hey all - I'm heading out to Vail next week (gross!), and I was wondering if anybody has any insight on rentals or demos. I'll be traveling with my daily drivers (Wrenegade 98s), but I'm hoping to try something new one day. Also, the forecast might call for something wider.

Does anybody know if there will be any demo days at the shops/on the hill? Or is anybody familiar with which shop(s) has the best rental brands and selection? I'm obviously looking beyond the typical Rossi S7s, etc.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Gonna cringe at this but the best place to get rentals is at Vail sports either at the base of the one or lionshead. Lionshead also has a christy sports that could be another good option. Imho about vail, it’s a stellar resort for skiing, but literally almost everything else is quite meager. Hopped back over to the eheath pass this season and vail has actually been alright.

Thanks, I'll check out what they've got available.

I'm well aware of Vail's various shortcomings and absurdities, but I have family there and love the skiing. No amount of internet hate can change my mind lol. I also would suffer through some terrible things to ski any semblance of soft snow after this "winter" on the East Coast.

Yeah. There should be some other places to rent, but you just gotta find em.

If you're on an epic and it snows should get a day at Beaver Creek in. Not sure how it is these days but used to get way less tracked out than vail and underrated terrain imo.
