Demo day at Copper

Yesterday I went up with Mike B. to help out Line at the industry demo day. We turned a lot of screws, and rode all the new skis.

The Invader's were sick. Once you get used to the center mount, they rode great switch, held solid turns, and butter like a stay at home mom.

The Elizabeth is Pollard's 'Freestyle Powder' ski. It comes in a 172 length, and has a 110 waist. It's sidecut is comparable to a snowboard, and it wants to turn. Great ski for backcountry kickers.

As Liz said, this was not a public demo. It's for shop buyers to try out the new gear. Thankfully, Line lets me keep their new gear.

i snuck in and checked out all the new shit, but i didn't have a laminated pass or any little purple tickets, so i couldn't demo anything. the line dude was cool though, he said he would have taken a run with me if there was anyone else in the tent. oh well, at least i got to touch everything. i was definitely most impressed with their new line up, completely retooled. too bad i'm not cool enough to get to ski any of it
