You're paying to keep them on the snow and support a company that the people behind it are good influences in the past ski community. im all for supporting responsibly made shit, esp by fellow skiers. but just because it wasn't made in china doesnt make a little pouch and a string worth $50. there's some grey area between super overpriced US-made stuff and chinese slave goods

I'd go with the deluxe one OP. Also price is what you pay, but value is what you get. Enjoy whichever tree fort you end up with.

if you have an iphone 6 or 6+ get the deluxe, other wise the other trunk is too short to fully fit your phone in the two back pockets.

This is very true, i have an older treefort and i recently had my iphone makes its way into the river and on to the bottom of the river bed, while i was fishing, get the deluxe, it will house a shit load of stuff (and it will keep your iPhone out the water).

It would definitely be a little girl, not a boy. Sewing is 100% women's work over there.
