Delton 3030 ---> Gorillaz Realtion?

I think Deltron 3030 helped gorillaz out when they first started, and I know Del the funky homosapien was featured in some of the songs on the first album, but is he still with them, or did he just help them get started out? (with all the weird beats and rhythms both are known for...)

del originally started in the lench mob, with ice cube (dels cousin). and made his own record label hieroglyphics imperium, which includes the hiero's (dels group)

Del came to my town. There were maybe 75 people there. He was up for half an hour, looked completely baked out of his mind, and is very short. I think he's addicted to meth or heroine or something. I was really disappointed, I just hope he can make another album.

100 percent serious. I read an article about mixtapes in some artsy hip hoppy magazine I found in a record store, it had a quote by one of the members of g-unit. it was something like

"Yea, we even did a mixtape where we rapped over a couple of the gorrillaz beats. We showed it to them, they thought it was dope, but if (it wasn't just a mixtape? something like that) they wouldn't have been cool with it."
