Dell DJ or iPod

I'm getting a choice of which one I want for free, the DJ 20 or iPod 20gigs, lately i've heard some bad things about the iPods so I'm not sure I want that, but I don't know anyone with the DJ
 
i heard dell dj's are complicated, go with the ipod, evne if something does happen its fixed in usually less than a week.
 
speaking form a point of view wihich is strictly form ipod, i would pick the ipod...amazing in every perspective...
 
I got a DJ last Christmas (it was one of Oprah's favorite things last year, so my mom thought it was really cool) and I returned it and got an Ipod. My bro has a Dell, and it hasn't messed up but it is more complicated to use. Go with the Ipod.
 
Djs are complicated unless you use the program that it comes with, use realplayer if you get it, so djs are way better
 
if you like dragging and dropping stuff manually go with the dj, i had one of the old 15 gig ones and it was bomber, nothing ever went wrong with it.

Musicmatch is an enormous bitch though.

i just got an ipod, and its very dope. got war and s6 on it already. its already got a malfunction with it though. shows up on my comp that my 2.0usb's are 1.0's when i plug it in and transfering files is soo slow.
 
definetely the DJ. I have one and they kick ass. Its a little heavier and thicker but its so solid, u dont have to worry about bumpin it or anything. Plus, u dont have to use itunes, which i hate. U can just use windows media player or really any program u want. Its really easy to use and figure out too. If ur music is already in WMP then just grab it and click sync and it's all on there.
 
i dont know about the dell DJ but witht he iPod its much easier to get music beacsue all you need is itunes which tons of people have instead of intalling a new program to get music
 
get an ipod. itunes is the best program ever mainly because of it's latter mytunes. so really mytunes is the best thing ever. plus all music downloaded from other programs(i.e. limewire, kazaa, whatever you use to steal) goes stright into itunes and makes it easier to get on your ipod. jsut get the ipod you won't regret it at all. i've had no problems with mine
 
I got the DJ because it's $140 cheaper than the ipod (for the 30 gigs) and because I've heard so many stories of the ipod breaking. The dj is pretty solid. I've dropped it a couple times, but that fucker is built like a tank. I think Dell decided that quality is better than a tiny piece of junk that breaks all the time. I'd have to say I agree. Musicmatch is a real bitch, but I don't use it. I just drag shit over using windows explorer. To people who say ipods are easier, dj's aren't that bad once you get used to it, if you can't figure it out in 5 minutes you're a retard. If you're paying for it, the DJ is far superior bang for the buck. If you're getting it for free then I don't know.
