For length i would reccomend anthying between 158-168 ish that way if you grow a little you wont need a new pair right away.

Since you'll be skiing a bit of everything i would recommend the line chronic or something similar in width.

I can't seem to think of anything else right now but i will post again later.

Cheers

And what length do i need when i want a freeride ski?

for all mtn/park do-it-all skis, id recommend something with a waist width between 90 and 100 and medium flex. im a huge armada ARV fan but another ski in that range that is really popular is the ON3P kartel 98. and others that i can't think of currently

i really wanted to think this was another sarcastic response.

Some people just have an insufficient intelligence quotient I guess.

Not sure if your getting at me for only mentioning 1 ski but Line chronics do in fact meet all criteria stated by OP...

other options include:

- nordica soul riders 86 (coming out next season)

- K2 domain

- K2 shreditor 92s

- Armada Ar7 (or look into next years ARV lineup)

The reason im not recommending wider skis is because OP has only ever skied rentals which are typically narrow

oh and as for length, get something that is around your height. maybe a little shorter if you prefer shorter skis, arent too good, etc. maybe a little longer if youre good, want more stability, blah blah blah

Actually it is not, i'm just asking for advice -_-

But about the all mountain thingy, i'd say i mostly ski park, like 80% , 10% backcountry and 10% on-piste(just do get down to the parking lot xd).

I'm also a bit on a tight budget(400-600).

And i can't order the Line Blends in europe, so those are not an option.

Shreadator 102s. For what you described, they will be soft and stable in the park but floatable and surfy in the backcountry. As well, you can find them for hella cheap really anywhere. If you are looking for AR7s, Steely Easy (I think thats his name) has a pair of 161's up for sale in really good condition and only 2 mounts.

dollars or euros? does that budget include what you have for bindings?

Honestly, if you don't really know what you like, you could just go for something cheap, especially if you don't ski all that often, plus you're still growing.

kartels on sale for 500, just fyi. not an amazing price but i feel like i dont see on3ps on sale very often

My budget is in euros, and it excludes bindings.

Can't buy ON3P , cause i'm in europe and then i have to pay high customs duties.

For going all-park: What do you guys think of the völkl wall and the armada thall?

Can only find the k2 shreditor 102 in 171, so i don't know if that's okay for me, since i'm 5'4

Can't comment on the volkl wall. the armada thalls are dope but id suggest their brother, the ar7, which is the same specs but a stiffer flex pattern which will make it a better all around ski. it's armada's flagship parl/resort ski

yeah id say 171 is too big for you unless youre a great skier and prefer long skis

What about 166 or 169 skis?

youre about 163cm so 166 would be fine. 169 might be starting to push it (though im sure youre growing rapidly if youre 14), but again, that depends on how good you are at skiing and what your preferences are. im a big fan of bigger skis but im not sure id recommend 169s for a 163cm 14 year old, they might be a little bit bigger than you can or want to handle

Yeah, the thalls come in 166, the walls i can only find in 169.

I like the walls 'cause everyone says you can go massive on them, and i like big jumps.

going with something in the 168-172 ish range wouldn't be that bad especially since you are 14 and could grow a ton in the next couple seasons and progress a lot. K2 Shreditor 102 sounds pretty good and the rocker will make it pretty easy to learn and progress more on. And having that little bit of extra width and rocker (as compared to something like a 90 underfoot all mtn ski) will make fresh snow so much more fun without much of a sacrifice on firmer days.

Yeah, i can only find the shreditor 102's in 176 in europe :(

If you do 90% of your skiing in the park or on piste and you only weigh 110 lbs, you don't need >100mm underfoot. Not sure what kind of advice these jokers are giving you.

Just saying Shreditor 102s are fun as fuck. You can also go on the big size cuz of the rocker. Love mine.

Thanks for all the help guys, through private help i've discussed about the pairs of skis i wanted. And i concluded that it's definetely going to be a pair of Armada's, most likely the ar7s :)
