Delete Button?

I think the NS should create a delete button like so if you make a post and spell smothing wrong (I do this a lot) or say something that you regret saying after (I do this too, worst was my comment to Timotheezy. Istill wish I could take it back) you should be able to delete it. I also think you should be able to delete your old threads too without having to message a MOD and comments in your feedback that you make your self and can message a mod about deleting comments in your feedback that other people made and they can decide to delete it or not (It wouldn't be fare if you could delete others comments in your feed back because then you could just delete bad ones that are true) .

(think of all the EPIC posts that would be deleted if we could do that. Skiierman's faunt thread, for example. He wanted that shit deleted but they kept it and now it's part of NS history)
 
It would kill newschoolers. Threads would be in disarray after kids get called out then delete their posts.
 
what fun would NS be without misunderstandings, fuckups and spelling errors ?

also, how hard is it to 'preview' a post before posting it ?

it's just like in real life, you can't 'undo' things you say to other people ....

i think almost 1/4 of all my replies i type em out, then think 'meh' this isn't a good idea, and i don't send it ....
 
seriously, people need to learn about this. except on mobile you preview or even see your whole post and i frequently make mistakes. cant wait for the day mobile gets seriously updated
 
I never realized they were that close together, I would delete shit on accident all the time.
 
so wait it can ask if your sure there, but it doesnt ask if I want to delete all of my threads?

I second this. Mobile is such an easy format to accidentally hit go....... I have alot of dub posts because of this.

It would also be nice if there was an edit button in a few certain sections of the site, the sections taken more seriously like gear talk and site discussion so you can update the OP as things go on (There are ALOT of other forums that have this feature) It's nice because if there is something you forgot to add or want to add later on, then you just hit edit, after your done editing, it would also say "Thread last edited Date:_________" Not all parts of the forum should have this for obvious reasons.
 
media and arts please. I/we as a group need the ability as a group to update several threads/guides/stickies/etc
 
Seriously half the time I write it and by the end I'm just like meh, over this. If people could delete stuff this forum would go to shit.
 
it would be so nice to delete sold items in the sell trade forum for the people who dont read the thread and just PM you about sold items
 
no, he's worried about spelling "smothing" wrong. It's a tense of the verb to smoth. synonyms include floop, drir, and flug
