^no, it's done. It should be posted shortly.

all the footage was shot by wallisch and hornbeck so expectations should be tempered a little bit because they were using a regular camera (not the same quality blake and decker shot with at Breck). we just wanted to make one to give you guys something fun to watch while we wait for the snow to fall. obviously things get a little out of hand in terms of hype on NS sometimes and this is no exception...haha.

thx

looks like it is up on the expn.com homepage...

so sick; cant imagine what it would be like if decker filmed that.

aaaaah, so so so sick. god i love the way they do things.

also, apparently there are 2 edits. the other is going to be posted too, hopefully soon.

hate to be the debbie downer, but that was not very good. WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY overhyped. is that the one they made a "trailer" for? i expected way better.

DOS media crappy hood edit kicks that one's ass.

do you ever read threads or do you just post in them?? there are 2 edits... that one was not made by decker.... so i feel as though im safe to assume that his edit is the second one.

fucking off the wall as expected.

anyone who says the filming sucked must remind themselves it was all shot by the riders.

yeah i wead the thweads. didn't know that that wasn't the one filmed by decker.

SORRY IF I OFFENDED YOU

No biggie. It might help if we explain this better.

There will be an update on Symms EXPN Blog explaining the approach we used on this one in the next 15 minutes I think. Both edits were filmed by Wallisch, Hornbeck, and Harlaut. We had the athletes shoot it and then had 2 different people edit the exact same footage on their own to see how each one would portray the skiing. The editors did not talk to one another and came up with their own interpretation of the footage. The result is an interesting look at stylistic differences and the effect that editing and music can have on the same footage. We did the same thing at Breck (except it was filmed by Blake and Kyle intead of the athletes) but they each did their own individual edits. It is an approach that we will be messing around with on a bigger scale in the future.

I hope that makes some sense.

Peace
