delaming skis

is it true you can just clamp your delamming skis with some epoxy in the split and itll fix em? my 1080s are splitting at the tail from some bad landings and the guy at our shop said that 2 part epoxy would hold....anyone ever try this?

Years ago I had some K2's that kept delaming, again and again. I tried gluing them together with all kinds of things but they kept blowing apart. Finally I put 3 copper rivets in the tip and expoxied them together. They never came apart after that.

3 years later I find out that K2 has copied my idea and is putting rivets in their tips and tails. Boy do they owe me a lot of money!
