Delamination on new Sakana

Hey guys,

Just got a pair of this year Sakanas and 5th day of riding the tail delaminated.

No crashes or impacts, didn't even notice until I got home.

Any of you had the bad luck with this ?

It looks like there was barely any glue in the back in the first place...

I just got them and I love how they ski, would really try to avoid sending them back for warranty.

I Think it's an easy fix with some glue and clamps, but I am no ski expert and I'd like some opinions on it.

I would try getting those replaced, that is clearly a manufacturing defect judging by how mint the rest of the ski looks

I would definitely reach out to warranty/the shop you bought them from with pictures to make sure it is documented. If you bought them from a shop, they will have the best sense of what to do.

same thing happened to my sakanas last season, just put some super glue and clamped it overnight. still holding strong 10 months later!

As said above, high quality epoxy, and clamps might fix you up.

but honestly what do you expect when you ride a swallow tail ski like a park ski? think about how much pressure is being put on those little tiny pieces. Fun to ride, but just doesnt make sense from a durability standpoint outside of powder.
