The text voting in the X games thread got me curious as to what the hell a whip was. So I googled it and found this video...How in the hell do they do some of those? Some of them are almost legit 180 reverts. And another guy does like a cork 0.

So please NS...How is this possible?

I was watchin this live it was fuckin awesome. The announcer explained how they turn their handles till they don't turn anymore and use that as leverage to turn the bike one way, then reverse the pressure to the opposite side to whip it back around. Fuckin nuts

quite impressive...but they must use the forks to push the frame of the bike back around, as well as their legs. also they probably brake in the air to get it pointing back down the tranny. the cork 0 was straight batshit crazy though.
