so my grandparents jst bought a condo there and i am goin out 3 or 4 times this winter i will ski pc alta and the other places but i know i will end up at DV one day. anyone know of good spots i went there once and there was a big cliff at the daily chutes anyone hit it/? also any other thoughts on deer valley would be nice....thanks

ya there are a bunch of rocks on the daily chutes I dont know which your are talking about...deer valley has some dope trees and they are allways untracked beacuse the gapers/yuppies do not want to ski the trees...

^^trees can def. be fun there. Check the trees around ontario/hidden treasure...not too hard, but def. fun. Daly Chutes are plenty steep as well, although I haven't seen too many people dropping cliffs there but I am sure people do. But from what I know, the runouts aren't great.

Rip the shoots as long as you can then go rip some groomas switch. THEN you can go mess around and master your pretzels in the mini jib park!

They have jibs. Like a couple flat bars, bunch tiny boxes, C box, flat down box, flat down flat rail double barrel. Other assorted things.

Last I checked, Utah was a desert and only gets snow a few times a year. I don't know. Depends how much it's snowed recently. I'm sure there will be plenty of fun little woop-dee-doo trails in the trees.

i went to the park city area for spring break last year and canyons and park city were awesome and had good  parks and deer valley's park sucked so..

Base of Empire Canyon the little thing has its own lift as well. It would be insanely easy to hike as well, when eeery thing closes you can just hike the minpark.

yea i went there last march and got some powder. I seriously stayed in the trees all day! pretty much any of the trees on the right side of the mountain are great. but seriously, dont go into the bowl on the far right, because you will get stuck and have to traverse like 200 yards to get back to civilization, and it sucks.

ya i know wich cliff ur talkin bout but i dont think anyone hit it last season cus there wusnt enough snow and there were 2 mnay rock n shit when u landed it but wuteva u do dont go 2 their park it sux balls and its not fun at all haha go tree skiing or theres a small cliff close 2 blubell or sumeshit...or jsut fucken go 2 pcmr!!!

real yuppie resort but all those bowls in the back dont get skiied at all when i went there freshiers like 3 days after sooo tight.

i used to work there 2 seasons ago, the best place for pow is empire canyon hit up the trees. dont drop into the right side bowl tho liek that other guy said its not fun hiking out. also if you get there super early you can get some really nice stuff over by the sultan lift. most of it is all tree skiing tho but its there. the park is small but it not horrible, ive def seen worse. the groomers around the northstar and silver strike lift are the best there fun to rip switch. its not as bad as people make it out to be.... or so i thought.

ah, the top one might be a tad sketchy, there isnt really a great place for a take off. but the bottom one is in the Daly Bowl, towards the bottom left.

seriously though, give me your email, I messed with a deer valley trail map so it shows the good tree skiing, I and would email it to you.

thers some sick stuff if u duck the rope behind empire a little bit of a hike out but not bad and that cliff ur talking about is sick when there is alot of snow def hit the tress i used ot live in park city so i skied everywhere around there

i went there once a full day after a 1 foot dumping and me and my cousin ended up skiing like 3 feet of pow through the trees because no one else skied the powder. it was sick. but its a wierd p[lace because everyone is soooo rich there

there were signs all over the borders of the mountain saying that it was a misdemeanor or a felony or somthing to duck the ropes and ski backcountry from the resort. But if you wanted to hike or somthing it might be different.

ya it is a good place to shred the groomers and the mini parks rails are really nice because like no one hits them but there a ton of tiny kids hitting the boxes though
