Hey does anyone here work at Deer Valley as a ski instructor? I heard that they pay bank like $10,000 a month. Thats so crazy

you do get sick fuckin green suits though and you can shred all over utah with them and look SO DOPE!

 
Im actually positive and know someone who does this. Granted it's only 10K for 6 months or so. But yeah just wondeirng if anyone does this. He also has his level 3 PSIA certification...
 
My friends sister works at the deer valley lodges as a chef and makes pretty good money, and sweet employee housing.
 
lets think about this:

10k/month=120k/yr

this = $60/hr assuming 40hr/wk and 2 week vaca

if they paid that much there would be no lift ops no sno makers no coaches and the every 1 in PC would try and work there. That is pure sillyness
 
to answer your question .... no one does this...i have a few friends that are ski instructors at bambi basin and they do not make half that.... this person is lying to you, unless it's the manager of the entire dv program.
 
its all about the tips at that rich yuppie resort... i still think 10 G is an exageration but i think they make the most money there
 
Fo sho dude tips at that resort are insane so many rich peps just ditching their kids for the day haha. But 10g's that a lot of skrilla for a ski instructor even with tips.
 
I tended bar at Steins the first year I moved out here. Made bank. Unless that instructor has been around 10 years and has rich return clients I'd have to call bullshit though.
 
definitely NOT a claim but i'm an instructor at dv, about to get my level 2 psia. i wish i got 10K a month! either way, they still pay better than the other resorts from what i've heard..
 
ha no way man...I worked a few years of ski school one at pcmr and I know you wont make that. Unless you have all request privates and work your ass off but I dont think you can get that gig...
