Dedication

did you look at the picture or did you just reply to the thread - its about 80m (length not vertical descent) of slush and mud...

I went to cairngorm a couple of years ago when the snow was brilliant, i really liked it. Definitely wanting to go more this year when the snow is better.

skiing is skiing, its all fun! any opportunity, rain or shine its all skiing and its all fun!

I'd so be there but I live in the south east :(

I think dryslopes are as much dedication because they hurt like hell when you fall.

scotland is epic when it's dumping - Nevis Back Corries at the end of Jan this year were off the chain considering the poor season scotland was having. However, what I'm saying is I think homegrown British riders are some of the most dedicated out there, especially given the cost of skiing in this country and the lack of proper mountains.

the one where i'm at doesn't hurt that bad, it is a little bit harder to try things though (i think) because it's not as soft as snow if you fall. Plus my skis are always dirty when i leave too which kind of sucks. Still it's better than nothing, and they're reasonably cheap.
