if you weren't just watching, go to ESPN, I bet they will show it again like 10 times. It was more nuts than any skiing deck I have ever seen.

it was not a deck out, it was to the bottom of the transition.

seriously about 45 feet to basically flat, directly to tailbone. insane.

i want to know what type of pads he was wearing that he was talking and seemingly okay afterward. rediculous. you'll probably be able to youtube it pretty soon. do it.

Oh my fucking god. That reminds me of when I launched off a 20ft tall snowgun mound, looked out and saw the top of a telephone pole then landed on flat. I was 12.

fuck, i was scared shitless watching this go down. i thought i ahd really just seen someone die on tv.fuck dude.

haha, i watched that live and told myself that it'll be on youtube tonight, gotta love modern days

someone is going to die on the mega ramp. That's how's it going to do down...I'm honestly in disbelief that Brown walked away from that. I'm shocked he is still with us. I was watching it on ESPN and I thought I had just watched someone die.

the youtube vid dosen't do it justice compared to TV. his shoe and something else just explode off him when he hits. i still can not believe that he was somewhat okay.

on a side note, he knew immediately and that couldn't have been a very fun 3 seconds.

The height he got out of that was ridiculous, but I don't know why everybody is so amazed he's fine. I mean didn't you see Dumont's section in TBC?

dude, we're talking 40-50 feet to absolute flat on a rock hard surface. Snow at least has a bit of give, but either way both crashes are absolute gnar. He's lucky hes not paralyzed or dead

Because when you overshoot a jump, like Dumont's, you still have forward momentum which dissipates your impact. Jake Brown fell straight down, onto non snow.

H O L Y S H I T !!!!!!!

That guy is made of titanium or some sort of shit, never seen something like that. He just absorbed all the impact with his hip. I dont know how he walks out smiling after that. I would have broken in 1000 pieces.

Well if I was feeling alright enough to walk after that I'd be kind of smiling or at least happy in some way.

oh man. those couple seconds of flailing panicked realization must've been hell. so will the next couple weeks.

that 7 was so sick... but then holy shit i felt sick in that different way. ughhhhhhhh that hurt, the slow mo with the shoes exploding is so intense.

I hate to say it but the announcers commenting on the replay about his shoes sounds like Dane Cook, "His shoes, FLEW OFF!"

the skate big air comp was pretty sick, even though not even 50% of the time tricks were landed, but everything that was landed was sooo smooth.

that crash was terrible though. so surprised he stood up
