has anybody ever used deck material like this before as a rail? I know for skating it slides like ice with a little wax, but does anyone know how it would slide for skis? thanks +k for good answers

ive heard of people using the composite decking

apparently it works

i myself have not used it

i heard that the fake type of countertop works, but when my deck got wet, it was pretty slippery on skis

fake countertop works really well the only thing is if you are gripping with your edges a lot over an extended period of time the edge f the countertop gets really worn down but it still slides

ew dont use countertop.

ones the laminate on top is scraped off, the shit under gets stuck in your bases and tears them to shit.

i have chunks of wood stuck in my bases on my rossis.

we made a rollercoster box outta Trex. it worked for a while but after a session, we had scraped away some of the slippery top material. it then just got sticker and sticker.

i wouldnt use it.

my home hill uses it on alot of their boxes. its poor but gets the job done. and i just made a box out of it last week and its working ok. just the edges of it shave off.

my dad built a deck out of this stuff about 6 years ago and we got awhole bunch of it layin behind me right now

im thinking on using it but idk if it will work even with wax

my home mountain used it for one small rail and it lasted all year, but it did shred somewhat
