Decisions?

So about a year ago my dad got offered a job in Sacramento. Our whole family would have to move out West, from Southern Ontario. After many family meetings we decided not to go ( I was against moving). About 6 months ago I started talking about how much I regreted not moving. So I'm eating dinner with my mom tonight and she mentions how there are 2 Volvo dealerships in Portland for sale that my dad is thinking about buying. It's my second chance to go out west, and I'm seriously thinking about going. I would have to leave all of my friends, and leave for my senior year of highschool. BUT I would be moving to the Rocky Moutnains from Southern Ontario...it somehow seems worth it? I don't want to regret not going out again....but I'm so torn...help please

move, your going to leave most of you friends for college anyways.

But, do you like rain?

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

Imagine the ns outcry if u(lateralis) were banned. There would be countless threads and petitions to bring u back, it would be like when treadway got banned from whistler. Someone would probably make and sell 'Free Lateralis' stickers and shit. -j

if you are a senior and you are going to college, you could pick a western school, then I would stay for my senior year, with all your friends. You'll get a chance to move after you go to college/move out of your house, so I'd stay with your friends for now.

portland rocks!!!

Is the vovlo dealership on burnside?

not to mention the skiing would be better. I can show you the ropes! hood is only an hour away, bachelor about 3.

Yeah stay for senior year. It is what I did.

To love the times we have
To like what makes us sad
To live when others die
To lose and say goodbye
To last until our moment comes

Move, you can always make new friends. Besides, if you're "friends" truly are friends, they'll still be friends if you're far away

def. get the hell outa the mid west you will make plenty of new friends out there and the skiing will blow your mind.

i would go for it, its awesome to meet new people. think about the experience, living in a new place! You should be accpeted pretty quickly out there being a senior and all, so you shouldnt worry about that part.

move. It only gets harder to move the longer you wait. I have been planning on moving to portland from MN for the past 2 years. Now i'm stuck waiting for my wife to get done with college and for us to pay off some credit card debt. SO.... Go and have fun. You can make new friends and they will probably be friends who ski.

thank you for the advice everyone, I'm definatly thinking I want to go...haha I can make new friends. And Hood is my second home, I definatly think going out would be scary, but sooo much fun

yeah, i know what youre going through. im moving soon too. im only a sophmore but still ive spent 10 years with the same kids. im only moving 2 hours away but it still will be different. you just have to make the best with what you got

Save Sugar Loaf! It's our resort, not just real estate.

Technicly they are not the rockies but still good. Year round skiing. Plus as said in a year you will be leaving for school anyways just go now
