decisions...decisions...

this is so hard! I have these 2 dream ski set ups and they both sound soooooo perfect but I can only have one! It will either be the 172 Head mad trix with the Look P12 binding and 1080 boot. Or the 174 Rossi Scratch Fs with the Scratch 100 binding and the Soft 1 boot. I need some really good advice so I better be really descriptive, hear it goes. I like doin't the park and pipe about 50% of the time. I want the ski to spin fast, be good on rails, and pretty manuverable, and I also really want it to be great for big air! I want it to do good in pow and big mountain and the steeps and stuff too. So Im in a big delema on what to get! Help!!??? Wich set up do I go for????

I would go for the scratch, better for that all mountain 50% which is quite a lot. I had the same delima between Skogens and X-Screams, went for the skogens and would never look back now.

go for the bigger sizes...that way you can do everything man....unless your short. 181 madtrix will bring you anywear, same with the rossi fs 180. big skis work in the park. You can go bigger and they help you go bigger...it's not hard to get used to a bigger size. Espically if your only 50% park.

damn straight, the only thing I do regret is not going for the 182 Darkside over the Skogen

Line motherships, line skiboard bindings and rear entry rental boots - thats the ultimate half pipe set up, at least.

scratch fs 174,

scratch 100 bindings,

rossi freeride xx.

the ultimate set up in the sport without a doubt. the xx's were so much smooter than my 1080s and the double flex is a plus!!! nuff said!

-jon, skiing the ice so the other half of the country doesnt have to.

get the scratches with rossi bindings, but switch the soft boots for line transfers
