Decision: Colorado

So I've got three days in Colorado this weekend. The operative word is weekend, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. I know for sure I want to hit up Keystone and possibly Breck, possibly Copper. I'm open to suggestions. I'd also like to know how bad to expect lift lines to be, is Saturday busier than Sunday or visa versa, and where should one spend the busiest day. Any input is appreciated.

Go to A-basin, Breck, and whatever else

I was just to both of those the week of March 10-17 Breck had the most snow, definately sickest. Also A-Basin was pretty sick too...

And for the last day id suggest go wherever you hear is best for that weekend???

The impression I got from Brecks website is that their parks are spread out. I'll be with a friend who'll proly want to be in Freeway, is there enough there for somebody whos not amazingly skilled, without killing myself?

too bad goldking and countryboy are on a completely different part of breck than freeway. he's not going to be able to stick with his friend, though i wouldn't be surprised if his friend like countryboy, the medium size jumps are fun and more importently peak 9 is way less busy than 8.

keystone would work good though, since you can take different jumps lines and meet up at the rails or down at the lift.

brecks parks are perfect for any kind of progression. from newb to pro to insane. lines won't be bad since its like 45 degrees every day right now and the snow is old. the park is amazing right now though! keystone as well

I went to Breck, Keystone, and Copper for the first time last month. All of them are good. I think Breck is best for park, Keystone is more intermediate level I'd say overall, and Copper I liked the best for actual skiing.

id say breck for sure and A basin, i wouldnt waste your time with keystone, i didnt like it that much, and there is soooo much to do at breck especcially if you are willing to hike, check out the lake chutes and the snow white bowl along with windows 1-5

I laughed so hard when you said old snow. I'm from MN, thats the norm, sometimes we would love to have some old snow as opposed to ice.

keystone will be perfect for you then, they have something for everyone there, and the bigger part of the park is fucking sick

Copper is pretty sweet right now. The park was just redone by the Woodward guys to test some stuff out for the whole new design next year. Theres some sweet rails up in the Highpoint park and the jumps in Highpoint and Catalyst middle line have been completely redone and are awesome. The Woodward guys have been cutting the pipe and grooming the park pretty consistantly and its almost always in good shape. Check it out if you have the time...I recommend Saturday as Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are when Copper is seeing the most people on the mountain...Fridays and Saturdays are kinda slow right now...and this is definitely a light spring break right now.

I never have problems lapping catalyst on busy days, the lines are usually nonexistant or the singles line moves pretty quick.

Definitely go to Keystone, their park is so sick. They have features for everyone in one general area and you can access the park lift from any 3 parts of their park. And I would probably go to Breck one day, too.

So leaving tomorrow, undecided for the last day. Plan is Keystone and Breck in that order on the weekend, still open to suggestions for the third day, but my guess is that one of the two will have something we wanna go back for. Thoughts?
