Ok so I have a long weekend coming up, and a plane ticket I need to use, here comes the hard part.

to go to Colorado or Utah.

first off Im a Colrado vetran and a Utah Virgin, so im not quite sure what to expect in Utah, but i really know my way around Summit County and Vail Valley. Is it worth to go to Utah to discover new lands or just have a nice liitle weekend in Summit County.

elaborate

i live in Co, and i used to be a devout beleiver colorado was better, until this season, when the impact of I-70 finally hit me, go to Utah, to Texans, Kansasonians, or Oklahomans.

I have a really good friend who lived in Colorado for 4 years, and just moved to Utah. He sais Utah Blows Colorado away.

He is mainly BC with a bit of park, pretty much just loves all aspects of skiing.

With this I would suggest Utah, Because I trust his choices concerning skiing.

i have a similiar dilemma in if i should go to cu boulder or u of u for college. my rents say boulder but utah sounds so dope im so confused

vail especially is getting dumped on right now...utah is a little dry i hear, not sure on that though. have fun.

utah is gay, there's nothing here but grassy lawns with no snow and mormons. colorado is where all the cool people go nowadays.

follow the snow. Utah has been having a pretty shitty season until very recently. CO has been doing fairly well.

You really cant go wrong with either. Terrain wise, Utah wins hands down. But if the snow there isnt great, then screw it.

What you should really do is fuck both CO and UT and come to the PNW...it is supposed to snow everyday for the next week and beyond. I know Baker already got 24"+ in the last 24 hours.....I think Alpy and Xtal were more around 10", but it is supposed to keep on coming.

thats what it came down too, So im going back to CO and riding keystone,

and dont worry jeff, im staying out of utah

pssh, whatever, there aint no good parks here...everything has been all shitty for the past...season...yeah...colorado sucks. dont come here...utah is the palce to be

I just went to utah last weekend

i am a colorado native but i was still excited cause of all the good things ive heard about utah

but the snow sucked

the terrain was pretty awsome but in my opinion it was no better then vail or a-basin and i think crested butte beats it hands down easy

i really didnt like how small all the moutains were, it just didnt feel right

and, vail got 35 inches the past few days

plus, it seems like if you dont go to park city all the other resorts parks blow

go to breck, get some sick park and sick backcoutry, or better yet vail, there backcoutry alone is bigger then most of utahs moutains, plus they have a sick park

CO RULES

unfortunately that makes alot of decisions. i havent heard much about utahs snow which isnt a good sign but i would have said to try exploring new lands. you never know whether or not another mountain or area is better until you have skiied it. and personal opinions are based a lot on how good the snow/experience was when someone was there unless they ski there consistantly and even then if your from the east what they consider shitty might be pretty good by your standards.

ya im there on the weekend

march 2-5, I wear a Bright Green Oakley Coat, or White Camo Oakley Coat, and huge gray pants. Ski on arvs, Burton Zoom Pack, and Tripod

utah has been getting raped in the snow department this year. For sure go to colorado right now, and maybe utah next year. WHen it snows alot Utah is dope as hell
