Deciding on park ski

All of the skis that you listed are too short for you.

I would go around the 171 length, and maybe the Armada AR7?

this is only my first year getting into park skiing, i've been skiing since i was 9 (14 now) and i dont really want a longer ski for park, im just transitioning into park and not planning on doing anything else next season

Trust me, you don't want anything in the 150 range. Something in the high 160's COULD work for you, but trust me from experience. You should be looking at something around the 170 mark.

Those are all to short. Get at least something around 170. Look into the 171 Thall, I just got a pair and they seem like the perfect park ski for me.

He's not going to want a big ski since this is his first year in park. You have more control with a smaller ski and it's much easier to learn on small skis. Don't get skis that are short short but some that are around your head. 171 would be way over your head sir therefore making it harder to spin and

At 5'7" a 171 would be at his head, and would be the proper size. He needs to realize that these skis will be mounted at or very close to center, and something around 160 is absolutely tiny.

If you want to learn the hard way why a short park ski is a bad idea, go for it. But as several knowledgable members already said, that's way too short.

Get an AR7 in the 170 range, or get a 160ish ski and land on your face with your first frontseat 180.
