Hi

coming out to new york for a short trip mid december and thought i'd get some gear whilst i'm there.

staying near central park so any near there would be cool, but any that are worth a journey would be cool too.

thanks in advance.

paragon man, its on broadway. the place is ridiculous, a guy got fired because he fell asleep during a ride snowboard clinic, they dont mess around

PARAGON FUCKING BLOWS. I THINK EVERYONE FELL ASLEEP DURING EVERY CLINIC BC NO ONE KNOWS A DAMN THING ABOUT ANYTHING. I WOULD NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING HARDGOODS THERE, AND WOULD CONSIDER BUYING A JACKET OR PANTS IF EVERYTHING WASNT WAYYYY OVERPRICED. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY ONLINE OR AT A LOCAL SHOP.

BUYER BEWARE OF PARAGON SPORTS!!

damn. guess i wont be getting any chear gear whilst i'm there then.

are there others that are reachable within reason from the city? i can't do mail order as i'm staying at a hotel and don't think they can take delivery.

umm there a skate shop in philly and if you want to drive to cherry hil lnj there is some really sick stuff at this store called d and q

Ok well if your looking for skiis i cant help you but if your looking for ill gear then i can help you for sure. Theres a store 5 minutes over the George Washington bridge that has all kinds of rare and limited outerwear/goggles/helmets/gloves and anything else. You go over the George Washington Bridge and DONT take the first right. You take the exit on the up ramp which is the second right. You then take a right at the first light and a right at the second light. YOu should then be on lemoine ave. Follow this straight untill you reach method boardshop on your left hand side. You cannot miss it. if you have more questions pm www.methodboardshop.com

Theres Emilos Ski Shop. They have a good amount of stuff, for park stuff its all Solomon. The guys all know what they are talking about. Its a real local place and all the guys there ski constantly. They offer ski day trips all the time at a pretty good price. Only problem is, its kinda out of the way. Its in forest hills, I live in Astoria so its kinda easy for me to get to, but I don't know how long it would take a guy from midtown.
